Wetlands
A wetland is an environment between terrestrial ecosystems and aquatic systems making them different yet highly dependent on each other. Wetlands generally have a lot of biodiversity and are areas that are wet or covered by ground water enough to support vegetation adapted for life in wet soil conditions such as swamps, marshes, and bogs.
